Baby it's FREEZING outside

This is what I look at when I walk down the streets.

You see that white stuff all around?  Yea I know DCers aren't used to it, but that is called SNOW.  If you weren't familiar with it before, you have 28inches on the ground with 10-24 coming tomorrow early afternoon.

YAY!

It was some weekend trying to live through that.  I made the mistake of running into Giant to grab a some cereal and milk last Thursday night.  I walked in, took one look at the 40 deep lines and turned around.  Even the CVS next door's shelves looked completely barren.

With all that time on my hands, I needed to entertain myself somehow.  So I did the first thing that came to mind.....

ONLINE SHOPPING!! WAHOO!!

Here are the lovelies I plan to get:

Isn't this a lovely lace tunic?  A beautifully delicate lace/mesh top with an underlaying.  It will be great under a light blazer and leggings or with a nice pair of navy shorts with a bright colored statement necklace.

I love the elephant details.  I don't know why, but it just strikes my fancy!  Would that be cute layered next to simple bands.  A look a la Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

And better yet, Forever 21 does something they hardly do:  COUPON CODE!!  Use "ILOVE21" to give you 10% on all orders $40+.  Also, enjoy free shipping on all orders $75+

I love these boots.  While I would love a more expensive version, the winter boot season is ending and so there is a very limited time to wear these.  Also, there is a lot of hesitation on whether this style will make it to the next season.  I have my fingers crossed, but until we have confirmation boots for under $30 will be a great win regardless.

In addition: we have a 15% off coupon "VALENTINE" (coupon expires 2/14/10)

To check them out on a real girl and styled check out the ever fantastic and fashionable Natalie at fashion, food and other assorted frivolity

Well, I just popped a couple of sleeping pills in hopes of knocking myself out sooner than I could naturally.  Tomorrow is a big day, deadline for the next issue of Moment Magazine is this week and we still have a lot of work to do.  I will need all the beauty sleep I can get.
